Ford Freestyle Tires

Sold from 2005 to 2009, the Ford Freestyle crossover SUV was intended as a replacement for the Taurus wagon; in fact, it was renamed “Taurus X” for its final year. The Freestyle had a lot in common with the short-lived Ford Five Hundred model and was somewhere between a crossover SUV and station wagon in its design and styling. The Freestyle was powered by a 203 hp Duratec V6 engine and was available in front- or all-wheel drive drivetrains, and in SE, SEL, or Limited trim levels. Unlike the Taurus wagon, the Freestyle had a third-row seat and featured taller ride height and ground clearance with “command seating,” putting the front seats up a bit higher like in an SUV. After being rebranded as the Taurus X wagon, the model was upgraded to a 253 hp Duratec V6. Unlike many Ford models, the Freestyle was mated to a CVT transmission, which had a payoff in fuel economy at 20 mpg city-27 mpg highway. Through all model years, the Freestyle was also available with an AWD drivetrain. The Freestyle was replaced in the lineup by the Ford Flex.

Here at FORTLUFT, we’ve gone through and rounded up some of the best tire options for your Ford Freestyle, including all-season, all-weather, and winter tires. We then ranked them as Best-Great-Good and gave them numerical scores for traction, longevity, and handling according to SimpleScore. Ready? Let’s go in for a closer look:

2011 Ford Focus Tires

The 2011 Ford Focus was first introduced in 2000 as a compact and fun-to-drive wagon, sedan, or hatchback. The 2011 Ford Focus offers an appealing choice for drivers seeking a value-oriented compact sedan. It has been a big hit with drivers thanks to its poised, athletic handling, peppy engine, ample interior space and amenities, and outstanding fuel economy. The 2011 Ford Focus is available with S, SE, SEL, and SES trim levels, and a base 2L 4-cylinder, or a punchy 140 horsepower, twin-cam Duratec four-cylinder engine for spirited performance. 2011 Ford Focus tires could be 195-60R15, 205-50R16 and 215-45R17 and a new Focus could’ve left the factory with a set of Hankook Optimo H725 or Kumho Solus KH16 tires attached.

Looking for a new set of tires for your 2011 Ford Focus? If that’s the case, check out the Sumitomo HTR A-S P03, Falken Ziex ZE950 A-S, or Pirelli P7 All Season Plus 3. Each tire offers good handling, responsive steering, dependable traction, long wear, and good road manners with a quiet, comfortable ride.
