Volvo Xc60 Tires

Introduced in model year 2008, the Volvo XC60 is a compact luxury crossover SUV that’s stylish, comfortable, and capable, with extra ground clearance, a ruggedized suspension and stiffer chassis and damping (thanks to input from Land Rover). The XC60 is available with 4-cylinder, inline-5, or inline-6 engines for up to 31 mpg highway, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and optional AWD. The XC60 is stylish and comfortable, with strong performance and the commitment to safety and value that Volvo drivers have come to expect. Newer iterations of the XC60 feature 4-cylinder engines exclusively (in various states of tune), with an optional 4-cyl hybrid drivetrain. Volvo XC60 models are rated at 22 mpg city-29 mpg highway-25 mpg combined, but can achieve as much as 35 mpg with the hybrid drivetrain.

This tread compound, along with a solid center rib that improves steering response and a “macro-block” outboard shoulder, adds up to handling that’s good enough to merit a SimpleScore of 9.9. Wet-weather grip is enhanced by circumferential grooves and sipes, for a SimpleScore of 9.9 for traction. Longevity comes in at a SimpleScore of 8.6, thanks to the ContiSportContact 5’s twin s
